INDICATIONS:

DIAPER RASH

(Commonly occur among newborn babies and adults wearing diapers for extended period of time)

Most diaper rashes are caused by prolonged exposure to wetness and contact with trapped irritants from human waste products, such as bacteria and enzymes present in faeces and ammonia from stale urine. The ammonia irritates and burns the skin to give rise to rashes.

Pureen Medicated Powder contains Chlorhexidine which is effective against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. This will prevent bacterial infection that can further aggravate the condition.

Pure Cornstarch in the formulation helps absorb wetness that causes chafing and rashes. Zinc Oxide gives an added soothing and protective action to afford the baby further comfort.

PRICKLY HEAT, HEAT RASH

(Commonly occur in hot, humid weather or when a patient is bedridden for too long)

Prickly heat occurs when sweat fails to reach the surface and is trapped in the epidermis or dermis, causing irritation (prickling) and frequently, severe itching.

Chlorhexidine, the active ingredient in Pureen Medicated Powder helps prevent bacterial infection that can aggravate the condition while Pure Cornstarch helps absorb excessive sweating to afford the patient relieve from heat rash. In addition, Zinc Oxide gives further soothing effect to the patient.

FOOT DISCOMFORT

Pure Cornstarch in Pureen Medicated Powder helps keep the feet dry and cool, thus preventing and relieving discomforts from sweaty feet and foot odour.

WHEN TO USE

For Babies

Apply with each diaper change, after bath, at bedtime or when there is long exposure to wet diaper.

For Adults

Apply and smooth over the desired site 2 to 3 times daily after bath.

For Bedridden Patients

Apply with each diaper change or when there is long exposure to wet diaper.
